Eagles will win the Superbowl

My Superbowl Prediction Eagles 24 Patriots 13!

I will detail the 3 stages of the game stages to show why the eagles are going to win the superbowl:

• Offense - Advantage Eagles It is all going to come down to the fact that the Eagles O-line is going to do a better job of controlling the line of scrimmage. McNabb is going to have enough time to get the ball to open receivers. Unlike the other QBs that have faced NE McNabb has the arm strength to get the ball to his receivers on the outside that are covered by NEs sub par corners. The Eagles will be able to keep the ball away from the 3 deep. This is something that the AFC teams were not able to do.
• Defense - Tie Both teams have great Ds with great coaching. Not only that both Defenses play to the weaknesses of the other Teams QBs. Brady does not do well when he is pressured.. The Eagles bring a TON of pressure. McNabb has trouble sometimes threading the needle and NE does a great job taking away passing lanes.
• Special Teams The Eagles have the advantage here. I think that special teams is going to be the difference in this game. While Viniteri(sp?) is awesome.. Akers is just as good. The difference maker is going to be field position. I believe that the eagles will have better field position throughout the game allowing McNabb and the Eagles to have an easier time scoring, in this defense dominated game. Having Westbrook returning punts and J.R. Reed returning kicks, along with Harboughs wicked (to use the Bostonian term) blocking schemes is going to allow the Eagles to start with great field position if not break one for a TD.

In conclusion it is going to be the Eagles Offensive line and special teams that is going to win the game!

Eagles 27, Vikings 14

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! The game is not even as close as the score indcates. Eagles dominated on both sides of the ball. I don't care what Theismann says.. They were not rusty or lucky. The eagles came up big on Defense all day. And McNabb and company looked sharp on offence. The Eagles should win easily on Sunday.. Stay tuned for my blog on the match-up later.

Eagles vs. Vikings

My thoughts on Sunday's match-up with the Vikes:

• The Vikings looked good on Sunday.. They played a complete game. Their defense looked better than it has all year and they mixed up the offense nicely with the run and pass. This is a concern.. The last thing we want is to be playing a hot team. I was rooting for GB. It would have been nice to play the rams who are not nearly as well balanced.
• Sunday's game should be a good one. It should be interesting how the Eagles come out and play. Will they be hungry? or rusty? If they come out hungry.. I do not think that any team can beat them. If they are rusty, the defense should keep the game close.
• The game will rest on McNabb and the defense's shoulders. They will both have to have good games for the Eagles to win. The Vikings have way too good of an offense to not score points. And the defense has to do what they have been doing all year and keep the Vikes under 20 points.
• The Eagles with out TO should be interesting. They have had 4 weeks to improvise the offence to work w/o TO. I am guessing we will see Westbrook moved all over the field. And we should see LJ Smith split out and at fullback some. I am looking forward to seeing how Reid get's inventive with his other weapons.. And I do mean weapons.
• One other concern is that the Eagles have home field advantage.. Yes you read that right. The Phily fans are expecting the worst. If things start to turn bad, the crowd will go quiet.

My prediction: Eagles 20 Vikings 17

Mac Rocks!

Apple has done it again! I love the new Mac Mini! I have to think that it is going to fly off the shelves. Finally, an affordable mac. Now all of those people that have wanted to switch to Mac but thought they were too expensive can "switch". It will be really interesting to see how the sales of these things go. Starting at $500, it is a real deal. It is small 6.5" X 6.5" X 2", yet it still has enough processing power to do most jobs. The only thing you might need more for would be some high end games. I only wish I needed a new computer

iWork looks nice. It is more reasonable than MS Office. Definitely worth checking out! Just have to find a good bitorrent site

Superbowl Bound!

EAGLES ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!

I am sorry that I have not written about this momentous occasion sooner.. I have been sick all week. So.. How about them birds huh? Here are my thoughts on Sundays game. First of all, I have to say our D is HUNGRY! I said at the beginning of the playoffs, If the D is hungry the Eagles will go far. I think the difference makers starts with our linebacking crew. Trotter has been AWESOME in the playoffs and people are taking notice. I hear that he is going to be on the cover of SI this week! He is seeing plays develop better than ever. He used to over commit, but now he is right where he is supposed to be. Another guy that has stepped it up is Keith Adams. He looked great in replacement of Simoneau. As a matter of fact if I were JJ I would keep Adams in there. He seems to be a great tackler. Speaking of tackling.. I think that has been the biggest part of the success of this football team. We just simply tackle well. You are not going to get too many extra yards on us. And you are not going to get yards due to missed tackles. On our D line, Burgess had a great game on the other side of the line. The D-line played hard the whole game.. I loved that hit by Hollis on Vick to hold them to a field goal. Our secondary had another great game. They just always look great back there.

On to our O! I have to say, if we can control the line of scrimmage like we have been throughout the playoffs. We will win the superbowl. The O-line is just playing outstanding! McNabb had a McGreat game. He is proving that he is a elite QB with or without TO. My boy Westbrook broke a bunch of nice runs. And our receivers don't look all that bad.

All in all it was a complete team effort. If the Eagles play like they have been minus the mental mistakes NE does not stand a chance! That is right you heard it here! More on the SB to come...
